Blessed with a baby - Challenge & Card Sketch

Good Morning everyone!!
I woke to news this morning of horrible loss, tragedy and senseless acts of violence and couldn't help but be over whelmed by sadness. I sat quietly and prayed for all the people who have been touched by these events, for the people who Serve as police, fire and health care providers for the families and friends. I prayed for peace, forgiveness and kindness and then I spent some time praising God and thanking Him for all the amazing gifts He has blessed our lives with. 
Most recently a beautiful, healthy grandson. 


Lucas Bennett Lower was born just a few weeks ago and by all rights is perfect in every way!!

I worry about the world that he and all of our grandchildren will have to learn to live in, but hope that with our love, guidance and Gods grace they will grow up to be a strong, happy people who will make this world a better place.

They say it takes a village to raise a child and I believe that!

Today I want to celebrate all the babies....all the children in our lives who need ALL OF US......to nurture them,  love them and teach them so that one day they might grow up to  make this a kinder, gentler world.

Here's your challenge:

Create a card using one of the 4 card sketches as inspiration that celebrates a baby or child:
 Could be a baby shower card, welcome baby card, birthday card or just a child themed I'm thinking of you card. As long as it has a kid friendly theme!!

Growing up I LOVED to color. My grandmother would sit with me for hours as we colored the afternoons away with not a worry in the world. Nothing was more exciting than a brand new box of crayons. All those beautiful colors lined up in rows waiting for me to create something beautiful. So many times through the years I thought back to those quiet times and  wished I could go back and just color my cares away.
